Contribtastic 2.0.3 Now Available (and way less unreliable)
Contribtastic 2.0.3 (the EVE-Central.com upload client) is now available, and far less crashy than before.
Highlights include:
- (Should) no longer reset its configuration at random
- The autodetect logic for cache folders is now fixed and actually works now
- EVE-Metrics uploading was removed (I know, kinda late)
- Locating a cache folder manually will no longer thrash your disk and take minutes/hours to complete
- Visual C++ Redistributables are now automatically bundled and installed for your convenience.
You can grab it from the download page at EVE-Central.com
Works like a charm, great work! Thanks a lot!
When can we expect the multi-client support?

Correct, it looks like the machonet version has changed.
The next version will run in auto-detect all the time mode to alleviate thus hassle.

The native OS X client is coming along (it scans but doesn’t upload yet). I have carriers to move!

Thanks for your continued work on contribtastic. I’ve noticed that forced scan doesn’t seem as predictable as before. I.E. If I reload an item, and then force scan, it doesn’t always upload the new file. Was this intentional to reduce bandwidth requirements?

Nothing intentional. It may be a symptom of the EVE client not committing its cache to file as early as it used to. I have noticed this behavior as well.
