Contribtastic Alpha 5 Available

My Windows build machine is up and running again. Alpha 5 of Conttibtastic is prepackaged for testing.

  3. After installation client resets settings and one cannot change them in Settings… dialog. Client shows user to be Anonymous, counts scans but does not uploads.

  4. I have the same problem as pvita. Do i need to register with someone to tweak the settings? Client shows user to be anonymous and doesnt seem to like my EVE user name or password. Also, it counts the scans but doesnt seem to upload them.

  5. Scratch my last post. The app seems to be working fine now with 14 scans and 5 uploads. WooHooo!!!

  6. OK, I’ve been uploading like a madman this morning. 579 Uploads and 41 scans so far. Looks like it’s working fine.

  7. Scans and uploads fine, but refuses to save my account name and password. my account name for this site has a space in it, I was wondering if that might be causing the problem?

  8. Is it possible to have step by step instruction about how to install from src and run contribtastic on a Mac? Or a linkage if such instruction exists somewhere already? A readme file would be perfect :)

  10. im having a very similar problem to #3, #6, and #7 i have an eve-central account but it will not save my user name and password in the settings and it says “character name: anonymous”

  11. cant login (stays anonymous)
    cant upload anything, set correct folder, eve-metrics uploader reads caches fine from it and uploads like crazy automagically, this one doesnt upload anything
    I like the “traderoute” feature of eve-central so i need eve-central data updated :/

  12. i get no uploads and settings dont save on alpha 5. cant login remain anonymous and when checking the cache folder its coming from 250 when the faq says its should be coming from 251 and i have no 251, running on xp

  13. I have same problem as Domi(7), i cant login with contribtastic, but i can login on website, my account name also has a space in it.

    Also i had problems locating the correct cache folder as i had lots of directory’s under …/MachoNet/87.237.38/* i must have selected wrong one, but i deleted all of them and there is only one now, and its working fine.
