Contribtastic Alpha4 Available

A new version of Contribtastic, the 100% open source cache reading uploader, is now available. If you’ve been hit with the data.pickle corruption bug from previous versions, this is an essential upgrade.

Next release may actually add the CSV export option along with re-implementing login functionality. Contributions welcome!

  1. I cannot get this to run on linux. While I can compile the libevecache library, it contains no python. Your upload.py is loading a python library called ‘evecache’ which does not seem to exist in either the libevecache or contribtastic codebases. Am I missing something obvious? Where is the python interface to libevecache?

I also looked at the ‘reverence’ python library, which is independent from libevecache, and doesn’t appear to be what you’re using…

  2. It’s only a minor inconvenience to change it every run, but it seems odd to always default to the first numbered CachedMethodCalls instead of the latest — either hardcoding to the current release (eg. 235 for Dominion), or using the highest number since that seems to correspond with the one in use.

  4. On Win7 32 machines it is the same (and probably some more since this is a syntax error). And according to the changelog that is already fixed.
If someone would be so kind and release a beta 5…?

  7. Two things:

    1) when will alpha5 be released? alpha4 doesn’t even start up.
    2) Please explain more fully what player actions will collect info that eve-central can use? Do players have to manually look at price history as well as market data, or what?
